National Heath Security Strategy Stakeholders Meetings

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is soliciting public input on the upcoming 2014 National Health Security Strategy (NHSS). The NHSS articulates the strategic direction and priorities for improving the Nation’s ability to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from major incidents with potentially adverse health impacts.

ASPR is holding two public meetings to give its stakeholders an opportunity to learn about the upcoming 2014 NHSS and to contribute to the strategy’s planning and development. Participants from local, state, territorial, and tribal governments; community-based organizations; private-sector firms; and academia are highly encouraged to attend. By participating, you will be able to contribute to a significant policy effort to lay out a national vision for enhancing health security over the next four years.

Registration for these events is now closed.
