For Pharmacies: How to enroll for temporary access to EPAP

The Emergency Prescription Assistance Program has been activated for Puerto Rico.  Temporary registration is only available to pharmacies in Puerto Rico.

If your pharmacy would like to join for 90 days, or if your pharmacy is enrolled but receives NCPDP reject 40 “Pharmacy Not Contracted with Plan on Date of Service” when attempting to process Express Scripts member claims, please contact Express Scripts Pharmacy Operations at 888.571.8182 to be added to our network on a short term basis during this crisis.

If your pharmacy is contracted with Express Scripts but you are receiving NCPDP reject 40, please have the following information available: 

  • NCPDP #
  • Member ID and Name
  • Member RxGroup ID

If your pharmacy is not contracted with Express Scripts, please have the following information available:

  • NCPDP #
  • Member ID and Name
  • Member RxGroup ID
  • Proof of Licensure
  • Proof of Insurance
  • DEA certificate
