During this meeting, we heard from the ASPR TRACIE Program Director, Shayne Brannman, who gave an overview of ASPR TRACIE’s recent resources. Afterwards, Dr. Richard C. Hunt, Senior Medical Advisor of the National Healthcare Preparedness Branch provided an introduction to the ASPR Healthcare Preparedness and Response Capabilities update.

Kacey Wulff, the Chief of Staff and Deputy Assistant Secretary of ASPR, and Meg Sullivan, the Acting Chief Medical Officer of ASPR, provided opening remarks; Jennifer Hannah provided several ASPR programmatic updates; Michael Fucci, the Management Analyst of the Policy Division Office of Strategy, Policy, Planning, and Requirements (SPPR) of ASPR provided an overview of the National Health Security Strategy Federal Register Notice Public Comment Period; Kate Gorbach from Data and Evaluation Support for the National Health Care Preparedness Programs Branch provided a summary of the FY 2020 end-of-year data analysis; Jennifer Hannah concluded the webinar with closing remarks.

During this meeting, we heard from Mary Gallagher, the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Ohio Hospital Association, who touched on the impact of ASPR funding in Ohio during COVID-19. Afterwards, Shayne Brannman provided an overview of the surge and staffing resources that are now available on ASPR TRACIE’s website.
