Hurricane Sandy Conference: Translating Research into Practice

Shortly after Hurricane Sandy, the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response; the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; and the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences funded a series of two-year research grants that examine long-term recovery of health systems and communities in areas of the country hard hit by the storm. As the projects near completion, we invite you to participate in a two-day conference to share the research outcomes and products, and to discuss next steps for translating the research findings into public health policy and practice.  Learn more >>
