Transit Subsidy Program

ASPR’s headquarters is across the street from the metro subway station (Federal Center SW on the Blue/Orange/Silver lines) Exit Icon and within a few blocks from many major bus routes providing access to DC, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

ASPR also offers transportation subsidies (up to $255 per month) to cover mass transportation expenses, including Metro, commuter buses, commuter trains, and van pools. Also available is the Bike2Work Program, which provides a monthly $20 subsidy for qualifying bicycle expenses incurred by a participant who commutes to work via bicycle.

Participants regularly using a non-motorized bicycle for a substantial portion of commuting days between the participant’s residence and the work site (50% or greater) are eligible to receive the bicycle subsidy.
