Office of Operations and Resources

The Office of Resource Management provides the resources needed to support ASPR during both steady-state and response operations. ORM is home to the following divisions: Contracting and Grants, Logistics, and Information Technology Services. The office ensures that a wide range of resource needs are met, from ensuring the operation of IT systems to handling logistics and deploying people and medical assets to the field.

The ORM mission is to coordinate, deploy, and maintain logistics resources, medical countermeasures and resources, contracts and grants, and IT practices, procedures, and capabilities in order to support the ASPR’s mission to save lives and protect Americans, to include HHS Emergency Support Function 8 (ESF-8) and Health and Social Services Recovery Support Function (HS&S RSF) activities and capabilities.
