The International Response Programs Branch (OPEO International) in ASPR's Office of Preparedness and Emergency Operations broadens the HHS workforce’s range of response capabilities to expand the cross-border and global resources for health security, situational awareness, disaster response and humanitarian assistance, through productive international and U.S. government interagency collaborations and exchanges. The OPEO International Response Programs Branch manages the HHS Civilian Response Corps, participates in international deployments, builds partnerships within the international community, and works to improve international preparedness.
