Nominations to the National Preparedness and Response Science Board


Call for Nominations: 2017

The Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking nominations for eight new members to begin a three-year term in January 2018 on the National Preparedness and Response Science Board (NPRSB). The NPRSB provides expert advice and guidance to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on scientific, technical and other matters of special interest to the Department of Health and Human Services regarding current and future chemical, biological, nuclear, and radiological agents, whether naturally occurring, accidental, or deliberate. The Board also provides advice and guidance to the Secretary and/or the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response on matters related to public health emergency preparedness and response.

Nominees for the NPRSB must represent one or more of the following categories: industry, academia, health care consumer organizations, and organizations representing other appropriate stakeholders.
