Health Care Industry Cybersecurity Task Force
Inaugural Meeting In-Person Meeting
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) hosted the inaugural in-person meeting of the Health Care Industry Cybersecurity Task Force. The task force looked across industries and sectors to find the best ways organizations of all types are addressing the cybersecurity challenge in order to draw lessons that can be applied to the healthcare sector.
A portion of the meeting was open to the public and it was the first of four in-person meetings the task force will hold during the next year before reporting their findings to Congress and the public.
The task force was created by the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 and is comprised of government and private industry leaders who are innovators in technology and pioneers in health care.
