Office of Emergency Management and Medical Operations

HHS/ASPR Office of the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary

As the operational heart of the organization, Emergency Management and Medical Operations (EMMO) contains three divisions: Readiness; Field Operations and Response; and Recovery. These three divisions support health care systems in developing resilience to 21st Century threats through leadership, public/private partnerships, and technical and medical support to state, local, territorial, and tribal partners. These divisions consist of the core of ASPR’s regional components to ensure a robust supporting presence throughout the cycle of an incident.
