Public Health Emergency - Leading a Nation Prepared
The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) can provide a variety of ventilator models to supplement state and local supplies in an emergency, and each ventilator has different features and modes of ventilation. Check out the training resources below to learn more about specific ventilator models.
To learn more about using ventilators during an emergency, the SNS has partnered with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) to create the
Project XTREME cross-training video and a video on
mass casualty ventilation and the SNS. For easy access to training materials on some of the ventilator models supplied by the SNS, download the
Ventilator Training Alliance app.
Put ventilator training materials in the palm of your hand! The Ventilator Training Alliance has developed the VTA App for
Android. The app includes resources on products by various manufacturers of ventilators that are currently contained in the SNS: GE Healthcare, Hamilton Medical, Philips, and Vyaire.
