Hurricane Alex

Hurricane Alex made landfall in Mexico, 100 miles south of Brownsville, TX, at 10:00 p.m. EDT, on June 30, 2010 as a Category II hurricane. Even before the hurricane made landfall, President Obama signed an Emergency Disaster Declaration for parts of Texas.
